The Pac-12 isn’t in the greatest of shape compared to the rest of the conferences. After losing to Colorado on Saturday, Oregon, the lone ranked team in the Pac-12 may just fall out of the top-25 on Monday. However, they could very well be replaced with the Bruins, currently riding a four-game winning streak.

UCLA had a tough week on the road, having to face both Arizona and Arizona State. Neither game was easy, with the matchup with the Sun Devils have gone to overtime, before having a one-possession game versus the Wildcats in the final minute.

But in the end, the Bruins prevailed, sitting them at the top of the Pac-12 at 5-0. More importantly, it has them in the top 30 of the NET rankings with a pair of Quad 1 added victories. With just losses to San Deigo State and Ohio State, this team is in as strong a position as any team in the Pac-12.

Things will get much easier for UCLA in the upcoming week, with matchups against Washington and Washington State at home. The odds are great that they’ll improve to 7-0 in league play and in a dominant position in the standings. They may not be blowouts but the results are still the same for Mick Cronin’s team… wins.
