7. Arizona State Sun Devils

The Arizona State Sun Devils have been disappointing this year. They are 4-5 overall and 1-2 in the conference. The Sun Devils have lost four out of the last five and had two games postponed due to COVID-19 19 issues. They lost their last previous two games to UCLA 81-75 and USC 73-64. ASU was without Remy Martin due to a funeral and also a couple of other players.

On this Arizona State team, there are 4 pretty important players Alonzo Verge, Remy Martin, Josh Christopher, and Marcus Bagley. ASU has really struggled to get production from the rest of the roster.

This Arizona State team has been disappointing, they have lost 4 of 5, and even before having their COVID issues they weren’t playing very good basketball. Part of their struggles I think have had to do with Martin recently and Bagley out of the lineup. I think you can assume they will play better when they get healthy.

But under Bobby Hurley, Arizona State has been really inconsistent. They will look like a top 15 team and then lose their next game to a team like Washington State. You can expect the inconsistency to be there, but I think at some point they will turn it around. Right now, Arizona State is 7th on my power rankings.
