10. Georgetown Hoyas (3-8, 1-5 Big East)

Sustaining double-digit leads has been a major problem this season for Georgetown. After giving up two 18-point leads already this season to Villanova and Marquette, the Hoyas allowed the last-ranked offense in the conference, Butler, to come back from an early 11-point deficit to win 63-55.

On Saturday night, the Hoyas had trouble defending Joe Girard III and Buddy Boeheim of Syracuse, allowing the backcourt duo to combine for 15-for-29 shooting (51.7 percent) with six combined shots from the perimeter.

The main struggle this season for the Hoyas has been making shots. Georgetown currently is last in the Big East with a shooting percentage of 41 percent.

Senior point guard, Jahvon Blair (18 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 3.8 apg), is currently sixth in the conference in scoring but has struggled with his offensive efficiency. As a high-volume shooter, Blair is currently converting on just 40.7 percent of his shots. He shot a combined 10-for-31 (32.2 percent) last week during Georgetown’s two losses against Butler and Syracuse.

Georgetown was supposed to host DePaul on Wednesday, but that matchup has been postponed due to Georgetown’s program going on a COVID-19 pause.
