Previous Games: Postponements at. Baylor and vs. TCU.
Next Games: Postponement with Oklahoma State, Game Saturday vs. Kansas State.
The Mountaineers have been put on pause with team activities that will be affecting their schedule. Whether they will be able to reschedule all three games is unknown. They plan on playing against on Saturday, against Kansas State.
Previous Games: 75-70 loss to Oklahoma State, Postponed vs. Iowa State.
Next Games: Monday at. Baylor, Saturday at. Oklahoma.
It’s unfamiliar territory for the Jayhawks. They are coming off an upset loss to Oklahoma State, dropping them to fifth in the power rankings. The Jayhawks have a difficult time sustaining consistent offense.
The Jayhawks shot 23 percent from beyond the arc and were not attacking the paint with guards. Kansas had just nine free throws and forced 14 fouls in the game. Both of those need to change.
David McCormack finished with 24 points and 12 rebounds on 10-18 from the field. However, the Jayhawks did not get much help from their bench with nine bench points. Marcus Garrett and Christian Braun combined 1-7 from beyond the arc and Garrett had the same amount of assists as turnovers.
The good news for the Jayhawks is that they essentially get a one-week break, after their postponed game with Iowa State. The Jayhawks need as much rest as possible, with their trip to Waco coming up on Monday.
