1. Notre Dame shot lights out from the floor

As mentioned earlier, this was Notre Dame’s best game of the year from start to finish. Pretty easy choice for the best game when you shoot as well as the Irish did against Pittsburgh.

Watching the game it felt like every shot Notre Dame attempted was going in. Not every shot went in obviously, but Notre Dame ended up shooting 56.1% from the floor, and 54.2% from three-point land. Notre Dame made thirteen three-point field goals Saturday night.

The Irish had three players finish in double figures against Pittsburgh. Juwan Durham recorded 14 points, three rebounds, Dane Goodwin scored 16 points, nine rebounds, and Prentiss Hubb had 17 points and nine assists. Throw in the bench scoring that was mentioned earlier and it was a really good night for the Irish.

Notre Dame’s best player this season Nate Laszewski only had seven points as well, and the Irish still played a great game. Laszewski did rebound the ball well with nine rebounds, and tossing in three assists.

Unless Notre Dame wins the ACC tournament they are not going to be going to the NCAA Tournament this year. The Irish can be spoilers though if they continue to shoot it as they did against the Pittsburgh Panthers.
