Illinois Fighting Illini

Although they’re currently having a fantastic season as a top-10 team, Illinois still has to look ahead and find ways to replace the likely departing talent. Leading scorer and All-American guard Ayo Dosunmu is all but assured to be gone, along with double-double machine big man Kofi Cockburn. But another future departure that will hurt is Da’Monte Williams, a 6’3 guard who plays at the forward spot and in third on the team with 5.5 rpg.

With no one projected to return scoring double figures, the Fighting Ilini will be on the market to add some transfers. They’re a rumored frontrunner for Texas Tech guard Nimari Burnett to land for next year and they only have four-star guard Luka Goode committed in the 2021 class. Bramah would be a starter in this scenario at the four-spot and would work in this system.

Kentucky Wildcats

The Wildcats are having miserable season and between expected NBA Draft departures and transfers, the roster is going to look completely different once again. They already have a top-5 incoming recruiting class, featuring four-star forwards Bryce Hopkins, Damion Collins, and West Virginia center transfer Oscar Tshiebwe.

There’s going to be a desire to add experience and veterans for next season’s roster to avoid the same issues and there could be an opening at the wing position. And Bramah wouldn’t be tasked to do as much as he’s doing at Robert Morris and would have a chance to win at a high level. There was success with Kentucky’s last mid-major transfer in Nate Sestina so maybe they take a look here.
