3. Michigan Wolverines (13-3, 8-1)

Finally, the Wolverines are out of pause and will be back a lot for the regular season, potentially to play 11 games in 22 days. We know for a fact they’ll take on Wisconsin and Rutgers this week, two good defensive teams that could cause problems for a team that should be rusty.

2. Baylor Bears (17-0, 9-0)

Still on a pause, the Bears hope to get back onto the court this weekend at home against Oklahoma State. They’ll need to add a few more wins if they want to be able to overtake Gonzaga as the No. 1 overall seed for the NCAA Tournament.

1. Gonzaga Bulldogs (20-0, 11-0)

If there was any time that the Bulldogs were going to lose in league play, this week was going to be it, with road matchups at both BYU and San Francisco. These have been two teams who have given Gonzaga problems away from home. However, within just minutes, the No. 1 team in the country raced out to double-digit leads that made it a no-contest the rest of the way.

Drew Timme was the individual star for the Bulldogs, dominating BYU’s frontline with 20 points and 13 rebounds, before going for 28 against the Dons, including 21 points on 8-8 shooting in the first 12 minutes of the game.

Barring some rescheduling, Gonzaga’s final two games of the regular season will be at home versus Saint Mary’s and San Diego. The Gaels have been historical rivals of the Bulldogs and played them somewhat close in Moraga but with this one being in the Kennel, look for another blowout to occur.
