Even though it has been losses, the Wildcats are starting to turn into more encouraging performances. In their best performance of the year. One of the major struggles over the year has been turnovers as the Wildcats average 16 a game. They only had 10 on Tuesday and shot an impressive 51 percent from the field.

Nigel Pack is slowly becoming an All-Big 12 player as he led the Wildcats with 24 points on 8-14 shooting from the field. It was a back and forth affair throughout the entire first half as the Wildcats held a lead at one point.

Texas would take over, however, as they stretched the lead to as much as 16 just seven minutes into the second half. However, led by Pack and Mike McGuirl clawed the Wildcats back. Kansas State cut the Longhorns lead to just one in the last five seconds. However, McGuirl’s final shot did not fall as Kansas State’s best effort fell just short.

After a decent offensive performance on Tuesday, the Wildcats struggled against Oklahoma State. In the paint, Kansas State was able to score at a decent rate. However, 22 percent from beyond the arc is not going to help chances at a win.

Kansas State started out the second half red hot, as they cut the Oklahoma State’s led to just four, six minutes in. However, they would not get any closer for the remainder of the game.

A four-point play from Nigel Pack cut the deficit to single digits late. However, 9-9 from the free throw line from Oklahoma State and only 5-10 from Kansas State was also an impact on the game. Antonio Gordon had a nice game, finishing with 15 points on 7-13 shooting,
