Previous games: 78-66 win over Oklahoma State, 97-64 win over Iowa State.

Next games: Wednesday at. Kansas State, Saturday vs. Texas Tech.

In the game that has been, the Kansas conference slate, the Jayhawks are starting to find a sort of rhythm. This week displayed the Kansas of old, even if the competition wasn’t top tier.

Led by McCormack’s 23 points, Kansas took care of Oklahoma State, even with shooting just 41.1 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from beyond the arc. The defense was the highlight of the game, limiting Oklahoma State to just seven of 26 from three-point range.

All five Jayhawks scored in double figures, and only got two bench points. It was a double-double performance from McCormack, Christian Braun, and Jalen Wilson. Kansas dominated the boards and collected 45 as a whole.

Kansas continued the streak with a dominant Thursday game against Iowa State. The Jayhawks drained 12 three-pointers, as well as, got great bench production. 25 of their 97 points came from the bench, led by eight points from Bryce Thompson.

Jalen Wilson played a great game for the Jayhawks, scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds, on 7-10 from the field.

Wilson would add another terrific game against the Cyclones on Saturday, adding 22 points and 10 rebounds on 7-15 from the field. Kansas didn’t shoot well in the second game, but it didn’t matter. The Jayhawks ended the week with a 3-0 sweep and looking to climb as high as they can in the seed for the NCAA Tournament.
