The Trojans are building up their own tradition with sending bigs to the NBA Draft. Last season, it was Onyeka Okongwu that went 6th overall in the draft. And barring something drastic, USC freshman star Evan Mobley is likely to go in the top-4 overall in the 2021 NBA Draft. He and his brother Isaiah Mobley could both be gone, leaving the frontcourt wide-open this offseason.

Actually, outside of junior guard Drew Peterson, the Trojans could be having a completely new roster due to both graduations and future transfer departures. There’s already a solid 2021 recruiting class coming in, led by four-star combo guard prospect Malik Thomas and three-star power forward Harrison Hornery.

But outside of freshman center Boubacar Coulibaly and Long Beach transfer Joshua Morgan, the Trojans don’t really have much frontcourt depth. So Boakye could very well reclassify and get plenty of minutes, although the team from a roster standpoint doesn’t look NCAA Tournament-caliber. They’ll need another batch of impact transfers and maybe even another top-10 NBA Draft prospect.

Expect there to be even more teams involved for Enoch Boakye going forward, including the likes of Oklahoma State. Considering that he was such a strong lean for Michigan State before, this feels like a truly wide-open process to get his services. And with his class destination still in the air, there will be several developments to watch before we get his final decision.
