Cunningham Carries the Cowboys

What do you do if you need two wins against Top 25 teams in the same week? Turn to the presumed #1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, and that is exactly what Oklahoma State did this past week.

The Cowboys picked up two massive wins this week as they defeated #18 Texas Tech 74-69 in overtime, as well as traveling to Norman to defeat #7 Oklahoma 94-90.

Oklahoma State was treated to two big-time performances from star freshman Cade Cunningham as Cunningham had 20 points and five rebounds against Texas Tech, and a career-high 40 points and 11 rebounds to help the Cowboys defeat their rival. Cunningham led Oklahoma State in points in both games.

Whether or not they can play in the NCAA Tournament remains to be seen, but the Cowboys could be considered a lock if they win at least two of their last three regular-season games, all of which are against Top 10 ranked teams.
