 Missouri Tigers

Missouri closes out its road schedule against Florida. Mizzou is 5-4 on the road this season, marking its most true road victories since the 2011-12 campaign. The Tigers have a net ranking of 47as they have six quad I victories with four coming away from home.

Missouri has struggled on the offensive end during SEC play,  ranking 10th in Kenpom’s offensive efficiency during conference play,  as the Tigers are not a good shooting team overall with Smith being the lone exception. Mizzou has also struggled to rebound the ball on the offensive end recently. The Tigers share the ball well and are above average defensively as they are extremely active and physical.

Coach Cuonzo Martin typically uses an eight-man rotation though he counts on Smith and Xavier Pinson heavily on the offensive end. Pinson, who struggled mightily against Ole Miss the last time out, leads four players in double-figures with 14 points along with 3.1 assists and 3.0 rebounds. Smith (13.9 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 3.2 apg) has been inconsistent shooting the ball lately although he is averaging 2.0 triples while shooting them at a 42.4% clip during conference play.

Jeremiah Tillmon (12.9 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 1.4 bpg) picked up his seventh double-double of the season against Ole Miss and has produced 27 points to go along with 14 rebounds over the last two contests. Mark Smith (10 ppg, 2.9 rpg) and Kobe Brown (7.9 ppg, 6.0 rpg) are the team’s other top contributors.

Missouri averages 73.9 points on 45.4% shooting from the field, 31.6% from the 3-point line, and 69.6% from the free-throw line. Mizzou has a +0.5 rebound margin and a -0.7 turnover differential. The Tigers allow 71.5 points on 42.1% shooting from the field, 32.1% from the 3-point line, and force 12.6 turnovers.
