Justin Smith – Arkansas

Arguably one of the hottest players on the hottest team currently in the SEC, Justin Smith is a huge reason why the Hogs have won 11 conference games in a row.

Justin Smith has scored in double-figures in the previous six games, which includes three double-doubles and tying a season-high 22 points. The senior forward is averaging career-highs in almost every statistical category and has emerged as an important piece for the Razorbacks.

The Razorbacks come into Nashville as the 2-seed, partly due to their current winning streak after getting off to a rough 2-4 start in conference play. We know that Arkansas can beat you in many ways, including SEC Freshman of the Year Moses Moody, but guys like Smith are the reason the Razorbacks are so good.

The hottest team in the SEC could very well win the SEC Tournament with numerous players being the reason why. When you look at recent games, however, Justin Smith is vital to the Hogs’ success and could be the reason why Arkansas could win the SEC Tournament.
