Brandon Boston Jr – Kentucky

Plain and simple, Kentucky has to win the SEC Tournament to have any chance of making the NCAA Tournament. To do that, the Wildcats must have Boston play like the top recruit he was before he came to Kentucky.

Boston is averaging 12 PPG on 36% shooting this season and has the ability to carry the Wildcats. While Boston hasn’t necessarily shot the ball well this season, he has made 19 3’s in his previous seven games, which included going 6/10 from 3-point range in his previous game.

Kentucky has to win four games this week to make the NCAA Tournament. While this looks like an almost impossible feat for the 9-15 Wildcats, if Boston and the other talented freshman for Kentucky can get hot, anything can happen. I mean, it is March right?

A few other players to look out for that could decide this week’s SEC Tournament include Kentucky’s Olivier Sarr, Missouri’s Jeremiah Tilmon, Alabama’s Jordan Bruner, and Tennessee’s John Fulkerson.
