Toughest and Easiest Regions

Some regions appear to be easier than others, while some may appear near impossible to get out of. There are two in particular that appear to be favorable and less favorable for certain teams.

The “toughest” region I would have to say is the South Region. This region has 6-7 teams with a legit chance to win the region, as well as an early popular upset pick in Colgate. While you can argue that Baylor is a step above the rest in the South Region, don’t start to think they will run away with this region as they could potentially face a very tough test in the Round of 32.

The “easiest” region I would have to say is the West Region. Gonzaga is by far the best team in the region, and there are only maybe 1-2 other teams that stand a chance against the Zags.

Now granted no Region or game will be “easy.” I mean, it is March right? With that being said, some teams may appear to have an easier path, but don’t think about that too much, the “Madness” can happen to anyone at any moment.
