Andrew Nembhard – Gonzaga

The #1 overall seed in this year’s NCAA Tournament, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are loaded with talent. On a team that displays Kispert, Timme, and Suggs, Nembhard may be the dark horse for the Zags if they want to make a run at a national championship.

The junior transfer from Florida is averaging career highs shooting the ball while fifth on the Zags in scoring averaging 9.2 PPG. While Nembhard isn’t the best player for the Zags, he will certainly get some open looks as other teams will focus on Gonzaga’s bigger stars.

The junior has shown in the past that he has the ability to knock down some big shots when asked, and he may need to do that in the coming weeks. Can Andrew Nembhard be the difference for a loaded Gonzaga team?

Gonzaga is an elite offensive team averaging 92.1 PPG, which is tops in college basketball. The Bulldogs have aspirations for a national championship, and if Nembhard can get hot at the right time, Gonzaga might just be cutting down the nets in the coming weeks.
