40. Tad Boyle (Colorado)

4 NCAA Tournaments (1-4)

Since arriving at Colorado in 2010, Boyle has done some pretty solid work for the Buffaloes, even if he hasn’t stood out on the national stage. He’s about to take the Buffaloes to their fifth NCAA Tournament, and their first in five seasons. Colorado made it to the Pac-12 title game this past season and Boyle has been above .500 in all but one of his years in Boulder. The former Northern Colorado head coach has done some solid work in the Centennial State.

39. Mike Young (Virginia Tech)

5 NCAA Tournaments (1-5)

It’s very hard to build a consistent program in a tough league like the ACC, but Young has shown no sign of those difficulties. He spent the majority of his coaching career with Wofford, leading the Terriers to five NCAA Tournaments before taking over the Hokies just two seasons ago. He’s got Virginia Tech into the NCAA Tournament and has already shown an ability to coach, win, and recruit well under the sport’s brightest lights.

38. Andy Enfield (USC)

3 NCAA Tournaments (3-3)

Leading Florida Gulf Coast to the Sweet Sixteen as a 15-seed has been the clear highlight of Enfield’s coaching career. The former Florida State and NBA assistant parlayed that success into the USC job and is finally seeing success with the Trojans. Thanks to some great recruiting the last few seasons, the Trojans are back in the NCAA Tournament and have a very strong potent lineup. Enfield’s put together another quality squad, but does he have a few more magical March moments in him?

37. Cuonzo Martin (Missouri)

3 NCAA Tournaments (3-3)

It’s another NCAA Tournament season for Martin, the longtime former Purdue player, and assistant, and it comes with a hard-playing Missouri squad. Previously, Martin led Missouri State to success, took Tennessee to the Sweet Sixteen, and recruited a pretty powerful lineup at California before joining the Tigers in 2017. This is his second NCAA Tournament with Missouri, though we’ll have to see if he can build consistent success; as the last few years were rough in comparison to this year’s surprise success.
