Early 2021-22 Season Preview

Maryland basketball put their faith in Turgeon when it was reported surfaced about a contract extension. He secured Russell and Wahab’s commitments, which fixed their lack of a true point guard and center issue.

As stated earlier, Morsell is exploring all of his eligibility options, and the Terps still await decisions from Ayala and Wiggins. If the latter two return, that will go a long way in Maryland basketball being competitive.

Even though we didn’t see James Graham III a lot, expect him to be a key rotation piece off the bench next season, much like Hart.

Fellow four-star recruits Julian Reese and Ike Cornish will join Graham III next season, and it should be interesting to see what that young trio can do.

Maryland basketball was projected No. 5 in Jeff Goodman’s way too early preseason top 25 list, which confused people in his comments on Twitter. They will have to earn that top 10 or top 25 ranking.
