Miami Hurricanes

A team that could have sneaky good talent next season in the ACC, could the Miami Hurricanes land the talented transfer?

The Hurricanes had a disappointing season finishing 10-17 overall, and haven’t gotten off to a great start to the offseason as they’ve had a few players enter the transfer portal. Miami does however return leading scorer Isaiah Wong, as well as a few other notable players. The Hurricanes are also bringing in a Top 25 recruiting class headlined by 4-star’s Jakai Robinson and Bensley Joseph.

So where would Gardner fit in with the Canes? Gardner would provide some much-needed front-court depth, as well as guaranteed offensive production for a team that struggled to score only averaging 66.4 PPG this season.

Miami hasn’t had a winning season since the 2017-2018 season but has the potential to have a talented roster next season. While the Hurricanes may not be among the top of the ACC, a potential addition of Gardner could make the Canes a sneaky team when it comes to making the NCAA Tournament.
