No. 8 – Florida Gators

Another team that will look very different next season, the Florida Gators will have a lot of roster turnover going into next season.

After finishing 5th in the SEC last season, Florida has seen some notable additions and subtractions from their roster already. Guards Tre Mann and Scottie Lewis have left for the NBA, while a few notable players have transferred, in particular rotational player Noah Locke and Omar Payne. Florida has also brought in a few transfers as well.

Headlining this group is Penn State transfer Myreon Jones, who led the Nittany Lions in scoring during the 2020-2021 season with 15.3 PPG. The Gators also add backcourt depth with Phlandrous Fleming and Brandon McKissic, and an impact player in the front-court in Boston College transfer CJ Felder.

The Gators will also return three rising senior’s in guard Tyree Appleby and forward’s Colin Castleton and Anthony Duruji. Florida will also add 4-star guard and Top 40 player Kowacie Reeves.

Florida will once again be good next season looking to compete at the top of the SEC. The Gators already have a deep roster coming in, and they might not be done yet either.
