Moussa Cisse, Quincy Guerrier among top available NCAA Basketball transfers
4. C Moussa Cisse – Memphis Tigers
2020-21 stats: 6.6 ppg, 6.3 rpg and 1.6 bpg
The former five-star prospect proved that he was raw, struggling in the second half of last season and only scoring in double figures once after January 26th. Cisse was a solid interior defender, blocking 3.5 shots per 40 minutes.
The center isn’t a one and done prospect but in the right situation can be a potential breakout candidate. There aren’t many quality true big men in the portal that can play at the power conference level so Cisse’s value will be high as a free agent. The question will be can be improve enough to warrant more than 19 mpg.
3. G Sahvir Wheeler – Georgia Bulldogs
2020-21 stats: 14.0 ppg, 3.8 rpg and 7.4 apg
The Bulldogs quietly finished in the middle of the pack in the SEC last season, thanks to the team’s leading scorer and passer Wheeler. He was fifth in the country in assists per game, which is highly impressive, considering the lack of scoring and shooting throughout the rest of the roster. Wheeler had eight games of double-digit assists and a triple-double in a win over LSU.
The only issues with Wheeler is that he’s a bit small at 5’10 and is a poor three-point shooter, making 23% of his attempts last season. But the fact that he was able to put up gaudy numbers on a lesser-talented Georgia squad makes you wonder what he can do if given an even better supporting cast.
