12. G Pelle Larsson – Utah Utes

2020-21 stats: 8.2 ppg, 3.2 rpg and 2.8 apg

The 6’5 guard from Sweeden was a nice surprise for the Utes, elevated to the starting lineup early on and had nine games of double figure scoring in 25 appearances. His shooting numbers were highly impressive, making 47% from the field, 46% from three-point range, and 86% from the charity stripe. He tended to be a bit turnover prone but was a solid overall playmaker from the wing.

With four years left, Larsson will have plenty of interest as he’s one of the best overall shooters currently in the transfer portal. He has the size and shooting to play just about everywhere but his ceiling may not be as high as others on the list. As an international player, the options and scenarios are wide-open as to where he’ll ultimately land.

11. G John-Michael Wright – High Point Panthers

2020-21 stats: 20.7 ppg, 5.2 rpg and 3.2 apg

Wright went from putting up 14 ppg as a freshman to over 20 ppg this past season, having a very high usage rate for the Panthers. He was in double figures in all but one game, including a pair of 29-point efforts. The 6’1 guard is an underrated rebounder and solid defender as well, and made 34% of his three-point attempts at over six a game.

Wright likely won’t be offered a starting position at a power conference program at this point and time but with three years of eligibility, he could be a quality bench player and rotational piece that can both score and handle the ball.
