Kansas Jayhawks
A “down” year plagued the Jayhawks, despite putting together a respectable 21-9 finish. Despite a 2nd-straight year of turnover at the highest rungs of the team’s talent, Kansas still sits in an advantageous position to seek another outright conference title. Bringing in a top-10 recruiting class complete with versatile frontcourt pieces and gritty guards, head coach Bill Self recently received the cherry on top with Arizona State transfer Remy Martin completing the offseason rebuild.
The improved depth and added time to develop the roster provide hopes of an extended stay atop the conference standings and pursuit of a national title. Despite the tremendous group coming into the program this offseason, Coach Self has already begun to build and formulate the 2022 class with the potential to be a very memorable one. Already receiving the pledge of 4-star Sunrise Christian wing Grady Dick, the Jayhawks are looking to land George to secure a promising and immediately productive backcourt duo to carry the load.
Finding his way onto the Jayhawks roster also provides George with an excellent platform in college to build his brand on his path towards the professional ranks. Being a part of the Champions Classic at the beginning of every season and having a high chance to make the NCAA Tournament field creates maximum and national exposure with which to become a household name.
