6. Carlos Boozer

Carlos Boozer was probably one of the most underrated college players of all time because of the stars around him that he shared the court with.

In 2001, he helped Duke win the National Championship. Boozer, Jason Williams, and Mike Dunleavy, Jr. each scored at least 600 points on the season.

Boozer collected several accolades while at Duke including, the ACC All-Freshman team, All-ACC team, ACC Tournament MVP, and two-time All-ACC Tournament team.

Through his collegiate career, he has seven double-doubles, 20 plus point games 17 times, and 10 plus rebound games nine times.

Boozer’s career field goal percentage (.609) ranks second all-time behind Elton Brand (.612).

He would go on to be selected 35th overall in the 2002 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

5. Luol Deng

Although Luol Deng only played one season with Duke, he was the heart and soul of the 2004 team that made a push to the Final Four.

In his lone season at Duke University, Deng averaged 15.1 points per game and became the 10th freshman in ACC history to lead all freshmen in scoring, rebounding, and field goal percentage.

His successful season at Duke led to a third-team All-ACC and the 2004 USBWA National Freshman of the Year award.

Deng declared for the 2004 NBA Draft and was selected seventh overall by the Phoneix Suns. Deng was traded immediately to the Chicago Bulls by prior agreement. He went on to have a long and successful career in the NBA.
