Alabama Basketball: 10 greatest Crimson Tide players since 2010
By Matt Melton
10. Levi Randolph
Career Stats: 9.9 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 1.8 APG, 1.1 SPG, 0.2 BPG, 43.6 FG%, 33.1 3P%, 74.7 FT%
Randolph never missed a game during his Alabama career playing in 135 total, while also drawing the start in 120, good for 5th all-time. While Randolph was consistent throughout his Alabama career, his 2014-15 senior season was special as he averaged a team-high 15.4 PPG while also scoring in double-digits 31 times.
Randolph ended his Alabama career with 1,336 points, good for 21st all-time. Looking back now, Randolph is the 8th highest rated recruit in Alabama Basketball history as he came to Tuscaloosa as a 4-star in the Class of 2011. When talking about former Crimson Tide players of the past decade, Randolph might be one of the most underrated of all.
9. Donta Hall
Career Stats:Â 7.5 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 0.5 APG, 0.5 SPG, 1.7 BPG, 66.1 FG%, 60.7 FT%
Hall became only the fifth player in Alabama history to record over 1,000 points, 800 rebounds, and 200 blocks for his career. Hall ranks seventh in program history with 228 career blocks, while also finishing his career with 1,014 points, 850 rebounds, and 18 double-doubles.
Hall was an outstanding defensive interior presence which earned himself a spot on both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 SEC All-Defensive Team. Hall also owns the school record for field goal percentage in a single-season at 72.6% as a junior. When looking back at some of the best post-players in Crimson Tide history, it sure feels like Hall is a name that should at least be mentioned.
