4. Herbert Jones

Career Stats: 7.3 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 2.2 APG, 1.3 SPG, 0.8 BPG, 44.1 FG%, 28.8 3P%, 60.4 FT%

Looking back now, there is arguably no player that has meant more to Alabama Basketball than Jones. While Jones showed continuous improvement throughout his first three seasons in Tuscaloosa, which included making the 2019-20 SEC All-Defensive Team, his 2020-21 season was one that will go down in Alabama history.

Simply let the accolades and honors speak for themselves: SEC Player of the Year, SEC Defensive Player of the Year, AP Third-Team All-American, First-Team All-SEC, SEC All-Defensive Team, and more. Jones finished his Crimson Tide career as the program’s all-time leader in charges taken (77) along with 947 points, 631 rebounds, 285 assists, 167 steals, and 98 blocks. When you take a look at everything from his four seasons, Jones may be arguably the most important all-around player in recent Alabama history.

3. JaMychal Green

Career Stats: 13.5 PPG, 7.4 RPG, 1.2 APG, 1 SPG, 1.7 BPG, 51.9 FG%, 71.1 FT%

The fourth highest rated recruit in Alabama history, Green is the best pure big-man to put on the Crimson and White since 2010. Green was a 4-year starter in Tuscaloosa where he averaged double-digit scoring and seven rebounds per game in each season, while also being named to the 2008-09 SEC All-Freshman Team, as well as First-Team All-SEC in 2010-11 and Second-Team All-SEC in 2011-12.

Green finished his Alabama career ranked Top 15 in all-time points (1,656), rebounds (912), blocks (212), and steals (125) joining former Alabama great Robert Horry as the only two players in Crimson Tide history to rank Top 15 in all four. Green finished his Alabama career with 27 double-doubles, and will go down as one of the best big men in Alabama Basketball history.
