9. G Aaron Wiggins – Maryland

2020-21 Season Stats: 14.5 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 2.5 APG, 1.1 SPG, 0.5 BPG, 44.6 FG%, 36.1 3P%, 77.2 FT%

After enjoying a career year during the 2020-21 season, Wiggins has impressed recently at the Combine emerging as a potential Second Round pick. However, if Wiggins returns to Maryland, he would certainly lead a talented Terps team as one of the best players in the Big Ten. When looking at which players could potentially help their stock the most by returning to school, Wiggins is certainly a name that fits that conversation.

8. F Jalen Wilson – Kansas

2020-21 Season Stats: 11.8 PPG, 7.9 RPG, 2 APG, 0.4 SPG, 0.3 BPG, 41.4 FG%, 33.3 3P%, 63 FT%

One of the players that is potentially the most likely to return is Wilson. The sophomore is coming off a strong 2020-21 freshman season with the Jayhawks and could help lead a talented Jayhawks team in the Big 12. While there is a possibility at being selected in the late Second Round, both the benefit for Wilson and Kansas is evident should the talented forward return to school.

7. G Jaden Shackelford – Alabama

2020-21 Season Stats: 14 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 2 APG, 0.8 SPG, 0.1 BPG, 41 FG%, 34.2 3P%, 75.6 FT%

Coming off a Second-Team All-SEC caliber 2020-21 season, it would seem like a shock if Shackelford didn’t return to Tuscaloosa. The 14.5 PPG scorer across his first two seasons did not seem to gain much notable interest from NBA teams this offseason. Shackelford it seems will most likely return to Alabama to help lead what will be a loaded Crimson Tide team.
