NBA Draft 2021: Final projections of first 30 draft selections

Orlando gets a second lottery pick from trading Nikola Vucevic earlier this season. And they add to their young core by getting Keon Johnson. Drafting Kuminga earlier at 5, Orlando is trying to take a player with the highest ceiling available.
Johnson has all the tools and athleticism to be an all-star in the NBA. Johnsons has excellent explosiveness off the dribble and can change directions effortlessly. He is already an excellent defender who has solid fundamentals and can read passing lanes.
Johnson will need to fix some of his shooting mechanics and develop his shot off the dribble. He must become a better decision-maker to take his offensive game to the next level.
Orlando had a fire sale at this year’s trade deadline and is looking for their franchise player. With Kumingna and Johnson both being raw they have will plenty have time to develop as the Magic are in no position to make the playoffs in the time being. This will give Johnson the chance to develop with some nice young talent in Orlando.
