4. Ryan Mutombo

Mutombo is the son of former Hoyas legend Dikembe Mutombo, so his game comes from a solid pedigree. He’s a four-star big man prospect listed at 6-foot-11 and 235 pounds that averaged 24.0 ppg, 12.0 rpg, and 4.0 bpg at Lovett School (GA) in 2020-21.

He’ll look to fill a void left with the departure of Qudus Wahab (Maryland) in the paint. With Coach Ewing’s tutelage, he shouldn’t have too much of an issue adjusting to the speed of the college game. Look for him to follow in his father’s footsteps.

3. Aminu Mohammed

Mohammed is a highly-rated five-star wing prospect with a ton of promise on both ends of the floor. He spent the past three seasons at Greenwood Laboratory School (MO) where he earned Missouri Gatorade Boys Basketball Player of the Year in 2020-21.

He’s a versatile threat that makes breath-taking plays with ease. He’s got poise on the defensive end no matter who’s in front of him and a high IQ for making shots with efficiency. He produced 23.3 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 3.1 apg, and 2.7 spg in his senior season. He should contribute right away to the Hoyas basketball rotation as his best basketball is ahead of him.
