2. Ryan Nembhard

Ryan Nembhard is set to star at the point guard role for Creighton basketball in 2021-22. He’s a highly-touted 6-foot-1 point guard and a native of Canada with a strong hoops pedigree.

Nembhard spent his senior high school season at Montverde Academy and showed his stuff this past summer in the U19 FIBA World Cup in Latvia this past summer. He poured in 15.1 ppg, 6.7 apg, 3.7 rpg and 1.4 spg in the Team Canada backcourt as their leader at the floor general spot.

With more weapons around him at Creighton, he’ll be looked upon to fill the rather large void left with Marcus Zegarowski headed to the pro ranks. Nembhard is certainly capable of playing around talented players given where he’s coming from. He’s also the younger brother of Gonzaga guard, Andrew Nembhard.

1. Arthur Kaluma

Arthur Kaluma joins the Creighton basketball rotation as one of their more decorated recruits as a member of the Uganda National team already.

He’s a highly-rated 6-foot-7, 230-pound power forward prospect out of Dream City Christian in Arizona. He holds a ton of weight in the interior and on the perimeter with what he’s capable of doing.

He gave Creighton basketball fans a glimpse of his game on the international stage with the Uganda National squad in the AfroBasket 2021 Championships. He put up 13.2 ppg, 5.8 rpg ,1.8 apg, and 1.2 bpg across their five games in international action.

He’ll certainly be one to watch given his ability to impact the game on both ends.
