Center

Igor Miličić Jr. is the mystery name that could get the start at the 5-spot for UVA basketball, given his versatility. At 6-foot-10, 224 pounds, he’s capable of operating inside and out as he did at Orange Academy Ratiopharm in German Pro B League this past season.

He produced 13.3 ppg, 5.2 rpg, and 1.8 apg while shooting 44.7 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from behind the arc. So, he’s certainly not a player that comes in without some polish. He’s a mobile prospect with a ton of potential, which is obvious given he’s on the roster.

His ability to play inside and out and gives the Cavaliers another “Jay Huff” type player to roam the perimeter, though his youth and inexperience could hinder him from playing big minutes.

Kadin Shedrick is another player to keep an eye on at the center spot. He’s gotten some experience under his belt as a redshirt and is due for a breakout year with bigger minutes in the rotation.

Francisco Caffaro is another name that could see action as well. He’s a 7-foot-1, 242-pound redshirt junior out of Argentina that put up 1.2 ppg and 1.2 rpg across 17 appearances and 6.9 mpg.
