SEC Basketball: Top 30 impact transfers heading into 2021-22 season
By Matt Melton
25. G Zep Jasper – Auburn Tigers
Jasper joins the Tigers as an experienced guard after starting in 63 of 83 career games at Charleston. The senior is coming off a strong 2020-21 season in which he averaged 15.6 PPG, 3.7 RPG, and 2.6 APG making both Second-Team All-CAA and First-Team CAA All-Defense.
23. F Henry Coleman – Texas A&M Aggies
The freshman appeared in very limited action a year ago at Duke where he averaged 1.1 PPG and 1.4 RPG. A former Top 50 recruit, Coleman should play a prominent role for the Aggies this season, likely filling a similar role to Emanuel Miller from last season.
24. G Tyrece Radford – Texas A&M Aggies
One of the latest transfers of the offseason, Radford could prove the most impactful of the multiple players the Aggies landed this summer. A two-year starter at Virginia Tech, Radford has averaged a combined 10.9 PPG and 6.1 RPG the last two seasons, while also versatile defender.
22. G Wendell Green Jr – Auburn Tigers
Green enjoyed an impressive freshman season a year ago at Eastern Kentucky that included averaging 15.8 PPG, 3.4 RPG, and 5 APG, as well as a First-Team All-OVC selection. The sophomore guard should be one of the top scorers from what will be a talented Auburn backcourt.
21. F Jabri Abdur-Rahim – Georgia Bulldogs
Despite appearing in limited action a year ago at Virginia, Abdur-Rahim is a potential breakout candidate this season with the Bulldogs. A former Top 40 recruit, Abdur-Rahim should feature a prominent role this season for an almost brand-new Georgia team from a year ago.
