12. F Noah Gurley – Alabama Crimson Tide

Previous School: Furman

A three-year starter at Furman, Gurley comes to Alabama as a career 12.7 PPG scorer, as well as having averaged 4.6 RPG across his 88 career games. Selected to All-Southern Conference teams over the past two seasons, Gurley has averaged 14+ PPG in each, as well as shooting 33.4% from three for his career.

An accomplished player with the Paladins, Gurley could instantly slide into the Crimson Tide starting lineup, likely helping to fill the role from the departed 2020-21 SEC Player of the Year Herbert Jones. A talented offensive player at all three levels, as well as a versatile defender capable of guarding multiple positions, Gurley should be an instant impact player for the Crimson Tide from day one.

11. G Stanley Umude – Arkansas Razorbacks

Previous School: South Dakota

Similar to Fleming previously, it’s hard to find an incoming SEC transfer with a better previous resume than Umude. A four-year player at South Dakota, Umude averaged a career 15 PPG and 5.4 RPG on 46.9%/34.2%/74.8% shooting, which also included a three-time All-Summit Team selection.

Looking back at last season alone, the 6’6 guard averaged career-highs in almost every statistical category which included averaging 21.5/7/3. No, Umude won’t likely average 20+ PPG with the Razorbacks this season, but don’t be surprised if the experienced guard is the most impactful Arkansas transfer addition of the offseason.
