1. Continue to share the sugar

UNC basketball has looked like quite an offensive unit under new head coach Hubert Davis as they sport a 3-0 record. They rank 26th in the nation in scoring offense, posting 90.3 ppg as a team.

Five different players are averaging double-figures in scoring and Armando Bacot, Brady Manek, and Dawson Garcia are all averaging at least 7.0 rpg. They’re sharing the ball and a number of guys are producing in a variety of ways.

Caleb Love leads the way with 19.0 ppg along with 4.3 apg, which ranks second on the team. Bacot is posting 18.0 ppg, 9.3 rpg, 3.3 bpg, and 1.3 apg. Manek, who’s become their biggest asset off the bench, is putting up 17.0 ppg, 7.3 rpg, and 1.0 bpg.

R.J. Davis has been stellar alongside Love in the backcourt, leading the team with 5.0 apg along with 12.7 ppg. Kerwin Walton is another bench producer, averaging 10.0 ppg and 2.0 rpg.

The talent with the Tar Heels is vast and it’s showing they’re capable of sharing the sugar. Purdue basketball will likely give them all they can handle on Saturday. They’ll need to continue to share the sugar to prove that their offensive surge isn’t a fluke against a Power 6 foe.
