15. Ohio State (13-4)

Wins over Duke and Wisconsin have been fantastic for Ohio State’s early resume, but it’s fair to wonder where exactly this Buckeyes team stands. They’ve looked solid for the most part in conference play, though they haven’t been tested as much as some of the league’s other teams, aside from a recent double-digit loss to those same Badgers.

They weren’t tested much this week but still came away with an important 75-64 win at Minnesota. Road wins are important in the Big Ten, and it was good to see a strong offensive performance, with 23 points and 15 rebounds from star EJ Liddell. Cancellations have greatly affected the Buckeyes in recent weeks; this was their first conference game in over a week and a half, but they still look like a contender at 6-2 in league play.

Ohio State has struggled in tough road environments during Big Ten play, but looks like an unstoppable force at home. When the games are all played on neutral sites, we’ll start to see what kind of Buckeyes team is going to show up to these games. They have the impressive offense and a star in Liddell; let’s see how they fare on the road against Purdue next week; with more winnable games at home to follow.
