1. Make at least ten 3-point field goals

Notre Dame has a roster that is loaded with shooters who can really hurt you and do damage from beyond the three-point line. They do not go very deep only having seven guys in the rotation, but six of them have the ability to get hot and make 3-point field goals in bunches.

As mentioned earlier, it should be very interesting how each team plays against different matchups. When Notre Dame goes to its four-guard looks at times will Duke also go smaller? Or will they leave their bigger lineups out there? If they do leave their bigger lineups with Banchero and Williams out there at the same time then this should allow the Irish to get some really good looks out of their sets from deep.

Why does Notre Dame need to hit at least ten 3-point field goals? Well, so far this season when they are able to knock down at least ten of them they have not lost a game. Coming into this matchup against Duke the Irish are 10-0 when they make double-digit 3-pointers in that contest.

Obviously, they could make double-digit threes on Monday night against Duke and lose the matchup, but up to this point in the season that has not been the case for Notre Dame’s opponent. If Notre Dame ends up winning this matchup it will be because they were able to shoot lights out from downtown.

Fully expect this matchup to be a game that comes all the way down to the wire. When it is all said and done I expect Mike Brey to be crowd surfing in the student section after another huge win for the Notre Dame basketball program.
