Davidson Wildcats (Atlantic 10)

Davidson basketball The Wildcats took their third loss of the season on Wednesday night in a 2-point loss to VCU basketball, to snap a 15-game winning streak and their first loss in Atlantic-10 basketball action, but they bounced back on Saturday afternoon with a victory over La Salle.

Senior forward Luka Brajkovic is the leading name to know with this group. He’s a versatile name that led the way for them in a 77-69 over the Explorers with 22 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field and a perfect 2-for-2 from the 3-point line. The 6-foot-10 dual-threat showed a little bit of everything as he produced six rebounds, three assists, and a block as well to show off his range on the floor.

The junior backcourt duo of Hyungjung Lee and Foster Loyer also finished with 14 points apiece. Lee snagged four rebounds while Loyer snagged seven boards of his own and dished out five assists.

Davidson basketball is 16-3 on the year so far and possesses the best record in the A10 at 7-1. With their trio of Brajkovic, Lee and Loyer they’re on the right track and their other starters, Michael Jones and Mennenga are producing as well. Look for them to surprise some teams in March as head coach Bob McKillop looks to produce some magic once again.
