6-foot-4 senior Izaiah Brockington, Guard/Wing, Iowa State Cyclones

Izaiah Brockington has been an impactful newcomer in the Iowa State basketball rotation and in turn, he’s risen his stock in the 2022 NBA Draft with his ability to score the ball and rebound in bunches in the backcourt. He spent the past two seasons in the Big Ten with Penn State before testing the draft waters and landing in the Big 12 basketball landscape out of the transfer portal.

The 6-foot-4 senior guard is posting 17.1 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 1.5 apg, and 1.2 spg while shooting 47.5 percent from the field. He’s a volume-scorer that likes to operate off the bounce and get to his spots inside the paint and make things happen. He can get rebounds out of the net and push the pace as well with his size at 200 pounds.

He showed what he could do in a big victory over Xavier back on Nov. 24 with a career-high 30 points on 12-of-19 shooting from the floor and 4-of- 6 shooting from 3-point range. He’s a guard that doesn’t settle for 3’s very much but has shown he can knock it down if necessary.

Brockington was an early entrant in the 2021 NBA Draft before ultimately going to Iowa State for his senior season. After the productive season he’s had, look for his stock to rise as a name in this year’s NBA Draft class.
