5-foot-11 junior Tyger Campbell, Point Guard, UCLA Bruins

Point guard Tyger Campbell has largely picked up where he left off a season ago with UCLA basketball and his stock in the NBA Draft continues to rise as a result.

Campbell is having a solid junior season with the Bruins, posting 11.2 ppg, 4.7 apg, 2.8 rpg and 1.2 spg, as the Bruins are 9-3 and second in the Pac-12 basketball standings. He ranks second in the conference in total assists (98) and third in assists per contest while generating the fifth-best offensive rating (118.9) in the conference as well, which is a career-high.

One reason for the boost in his offense has been his efficiency from behind the arc. He’s shooting a career-high 40.7 percent from 3-point land this season while knocking down 1.6 3-pointers per game.

Campbell knocked down a season-high four 3-pointers in a 73-61 victory over Colorado back on Dec. 1. He finished with 21 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in that one.

He’s on pace to shatter his career-high in 3-pointers made this year with 33 under his belt already and counting. He combined to knock down a total of 42 3-pointers from 2019-21. With an improved shot on the perimeter, Campbell has certainly raised his stake in this year’s 2022 NBA Draft if he decides to test the waters.
