Who could be out?

UAB Blazers (17-6)

The UAB Blazers took an ugly loss on the road to Q4 Old Dominion this past weekend that will do nothing to improve their current NCAA Tournament resume. They’ve got Rice (Feb. 17) and North Texas (Feb. 19) on the schedule this week with zero room for error if they hope to earn an at-large bid, at least. They’ll need to secure some victories this week or they could be on the outside looking in.

Saint Louis Billikens (17-8)

The Billikens took a loss this past weekend to St. Bonaventure then lost the rematch on Monday night, 83-79, to put them at fourth in the Atlantic 10 standings. With a 1-3 record against Q1 squads and a 2-2 record against Q2 squads, Saint Louis has shown they can hang with potential NCAA Tournament teams, but they’re also 4-3 against Q3 teams following their loss to the Bonnies on Monday night. Following two losses and VCU on the hunt, they’ll need to have a good week with LaSalle and Davidson on this week’s slate.

West Virginia Mountaineers (14-11)

The Mountaineers took a big loss this past weekend to Oklahoma State (81-58) then followed that up on Monday night with a loss to Kansas State (78-73). West Virginia has lost eight of their last 10 contests heading into a pivotal home meeting with Kansas on Saturday. This could be the end of the bubble for them.
