Murray State Racers moves from the No. 9 seed to the No. 7 seed in the current projections following a convincing 91-56 victory over Austin Peay, their 15th straight win as a team, on Thursday night. With three games left before the conference tournament, they’re a mid-major squad to keep an eye on.

Texas Tech has won five of the last six including an 83-73 victory over Baylor to improve their seeding to No. 2 with a big matchup on the road this Saturday afternoon against Texas as they look to improve their resume.

Team to Watch: Tennessee Volunteers

While all eyes have been on the Auburn Tigers in the SEC, the Volunteers are quietly riding a five-game winning streak and are a No. 3 seed projection in the Midwest region. The Volunteers are 10-3 and second place in SEC action following a 13-point victory over the Kentucky Wildcats this past Tuesday. They’ll look to keep things going on Saturday against Arkansas on the road.
