4. Texas Tech +2000

Texas Tech at +2000 is certainly worth a look. This team will not blow you away offensively. Texas Tech wins their games on the defensive side of the floor. The Red Raiders rank second in the country in defensive efficiency, trailing behind San Diego State. Teams like this fly under the radar because naturally people are drawn to offense. Texas Tech’s style is rare but effective.

They have been able to slow down some of the nation’s best teams and kept themselves in games by defending with a purpose.

They do not have any particular player they rely on for points, but they do get significant contributions from Bryson Williams, Terrence Shannon Jr., and Kevin McCullar.

I’m not completely sold on the Red Raiders to be able to win the National Championship, however, at +2000 odds I definitely see value in this pick.
