Key players

G Peter Kiss, Bryant – 25.1 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 3.2 apg

Peter Kiss is not just the best scorer in the Northeast Conference – he’s the best scorer in the entire country. Kiss leads the nation with 25.1 points per game, and the Rutgers transfer has been  on a particular tear in recent weeks. Kiss has scored at least 30 points in six of his last seven games, five of them ending in victories for Bryant. There isn’t a more important player in the conference than Kiss.

G Alex Morales, Wagner – 18.5 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 3.7 apg

Alex Morales has been leaving it all on the court for Wagner during his senior season. He ranks in the top five in the conference for points per game, rebounds per game (despite being a guard), and steals per game (1.9 per game), in addition to being right outside of the top five in assists per game. Morales contributes to every facet of the team and the Seahawks will go where Morales takes them.

F Ty Flowers, Long Island University – 19.0 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 3.2 apg

Ty Flowers is arguably the best big man in the NEC. The senior ranks in the top five in three different major counting stats, including points, rebounds, and blocks (1.6 per game). Flowers has a double-double in three of his last six games, with two of those efforts including scoring outputs of at least 29 points. Flowers is a big reason the Sharks have blossomed into one of the conference’s three best teams.
