64. Jared Grasso (Bryant)

0 NCAA Tournaments

This might be Grasso’s first NCAA Tournament as a head coach, but he’s no stranger to the Big Dance. He spent more than a decade on a number of coaching staffs, making several trips while on the Iona bench as an assistant. He’s spent the last four years leading Bryant and engineering this impressive turnaround, winning just 10 games his first season and now helming the NEC Tournament champions to their first ever NCAA Tournament.

63. Shaheen Holloway (Saint Peter’s)

0 NCAA Tournaments

A former Seton Hall point guard and longtime assistant to Kevin Willard, Holloway finally gets his moment to shine, leading the Peacocks to the MAAC Tournament championship this season. After a harsh first season, Holloway completed the rebuild in his fourth season leading Saint Peter’s, coming in his third straight top 3 finish in the MAAC. His first head coaching job isn’t going too badly all things considered.

62. Lamont Paris (Chattanooga)

0 NCAA Tournaments

This may be his first NCAA Tournament as a head coach, but it’s certainly not the first rodeo for Paris, who saw multiple Final Fours as an assistant coach at Wisconsin. Since his hiring in 2017 by Chattanooga, he’s had quite the project on his hands, and the results have come together this season, with both regular season and tournament titles in the tough SoCon. Could this just be the beginning for a young coach like Paris?

61. Danny Sprinkle (Montana State)

0 NCAA Tournaments

Year three turned into gold for Sprinkle, leading his own alma mater to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 26 years. A former assistant at several West Coast schools Sprinkle was actually on the team that made their most recent trip to the Big Dance. His Montana State teams have steadily improved each season, culminating in this year’s Big Sky regular season and tournament titles in a breakthrough campaign.
