4. Which double-digit seed has the best chance of making the Sweet 16?

Walter-Warner

Based on the logic of my last response, once again, I’ll have to answer Virginia Tech. It’s probably the only double-digit seed I’ll have advancing out of the First Round in the East. That being said,
there’s not a great chance of a double-digit seed making it to the second weekend in the region. If the Hokies get by the Longhorns, they’ll likely face Ivey and the Boilermakers, a team that can easily go toe-to-toe with Virginia Tech, no matter how hot they are.

Mauro

Same as above Virginia Tech for the reasons I outlined above.  The Hokies have an Oregon State vibe to them.  They are playing with a lot of chemistry right now and they trust each other.  Don’t be surprised in Virginia Tech makes a Deep run in this tournament

Schroeder

I don’t think there is one in this bracket, but if I have to pick one, I’m sticking with the Hokies. They’ve won 13 of their last 15 games and I believe they’ll win their first game and I don’t think a victory over Texas is an upset. If they can pull off one upset, and it would be a huge one, over Purdue, then VA Tech would be Sweet.
