Iowa State Cyclones vs. Wisconsin Badgers (Midwest Region) – 6:10 PM EST

Tyrese Hunter put the Iowa State Cyclones on the map with their upset victory over No. 6 seed LSU with their 59-54 victory. Hunter’s 3-pointer with 20.0 seconds remaining to put the Cyclones up for good was the icing on his 23-point performance that saw him drain seven 3-pointers on 11 attempts.

Izaiah Brockington also finished with 19 points on 6-of-16 shooting to offset things on the offensive end. Look for Hunter and Brockington to give Wisconsin’s Johnny Davis and Brad Davison all they can handle in what should be an exciting head-to-head meeting.

Wisconsin wore down the Colgate Raiders by the end of their first-round matchup. They’ll have a much tougher task on their hands in the Cyclones and what they bring to the fold on Sunday evening.

While they’re not very deep, they’ve got size and versatility at their disposal in Davis and Tyler Wahl that should allow them to battle on the boards. They’re another squad that will look to overcome a tough shooting night in their first game, but the Cyclones defense will just look to continue to make things difficult.
