1. Keep Wong, McGusty and Moore involved in the offensive attack

The Hurricanes have gotten a lot of offense out of their trio of Isaiah Wong, Kameron McGusty, and Charlie Moore, which has been a catalyst for their current run in the Sweet 16. While Wong and McGusty have paced the scoring, Moore has been stellar in making plays for them and keep opposing defenses in check in his own right.

Wong has already produced 21.5 ppg along with 5.0 rpg while shooting 50 percent from the field through their first two victories. He went off for 21 points and eight rebounds in their upset over No. 1 seeded Auburn, including a big dunk over top freshman Jabari Smith Jr. to captivate his fans and audience. He’s one key on the Hurricanes offense to keep things going in a positive direction.

McGusty went for 20 points, six rebounds, four assists, and four steals on 10-of-18 shooting, showing off his ability to attack the rim and make things happen on both ends of the floor. He’s a versatile threat at 6-foot-5 that has taken the pressure off Wong to do all the scoring with the ball in his hands.

Moore is the X-Factor with his ability to run the show at the point guard spot. He nearly put up a triple-double against Auburn with 15 points, nine rebounds and eight assists as the floor general on the Hurricanes run in the Sweet 16. He’s shot 42.9 percent from 3-point range in the NCAA Tournament while dishing out 6.0 apg across their two victories. He’ll need to have another solid day running the show for the Hurricanes to advance to the next round.
