22. Maalik Wayns – Villanova, 2010-2012

Career stats: 12.5 PPG, 2.7 RPG, 3.4 APG

Wayns only played three years at Villanova, but he was one of the best point guards in school history, ranking first in program history in assist percentage and usage rating, per Sports Reference. Jay Wright has always been particular about his offensive sets, and he wanted the offense run through Wayns — as illustrated by his usage rating — and for good reason — as illustrated by his assist rate. He was rewarded with a second-team All-Big East selection as a junior in 2012.

21. Justin Moore – Villanova, 2020-2022

Career stats: 13.1 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 2.3 APG

Moore still has time left in college, but his three years under Jay Wright were special. Unfortunately, he tore his Achilles and had to miss Villanova’s Final Four game against Kansas this season, but he still helped the team reach that point as a second-team All-Big East selection.

20. Jermaine Samuels – Villanova, 2018-2022

Career stats: 8.5 PPG, 5.2 RPG, 1.4 APG

Samuels rarely played but was still a member of Villanova’s 2018 national championship team. He proceeded to still be a four-year starter, using his super senior season this year to help lead Villanova back to the Final Four.
