7. Oklahoma

Porter Moser begins year two with the Sooners and has put together quite the team in his initial campaign. This year, things could be even better for an Oklahoma team looking to build on a decent 19-16 campaign and get back to the NCAA Tournament.

Tanner Groves (11.6 ppg last year) is back for one final season, as is senior forward Jalen Hill. These two already provide quite the punch, but Moser landed a big prize, adding former Nevada guard Grant Sherfield into the mix. Behind those three studs, Oklahoma has plenty of depth, adding Joseph Bamisile from George Washington and getting another season out of C. J. Noland and Jacob Groves. A pair of 4-star freshmen guards help fill out the rotation and might play a role right away.

This team might sit seventh in these rankings, but this looks like an NCAA Tournaments, perhaps a testament to the depth of the Big 12 once again. If the Sooners can shore up some of their turnover problems from last year, this is a great contender with three senior studs who can score points and cause havoc on both sides of the ball.
