9. Ausar Thompson (SG) – Overtime Elite

Ausar Thompson didn’t face the most challenging competition in Overtime Elite, but his averages of 15.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks are still impressive. There is room to improve as a shooter, but as a 6-foot-7 wing with long arms, a quick first step, and an explosive vertical his potential is undeniable.

Although Thompson hasn’t found the consistency on the other side of the ball quite yet, his defensive instincts are excellent and he’s physically capable of being an elite defender at the next level.

8. Keyonte George (SG) – Baylor

The top of the 2023 draft is heavy on wings with George as potentially the best pure scorer among the group. He doesn’t necessarily have the height or length that jumps off the page, but his shooting ability and offensive instincts are glaringly obvious.

He joins LJ Cryer and Adam Flagler as a three-man backcourt for a Baylor team that should compete to win its second national championship in three seasons, meaning George will be a player we’ll see quite a few times under the spotlight this season.
